The story of sadly parting lovers and adventures. Nostalgia of those who left their homeland, told by Antonio Marras through dramatic colors, seductive dresses, “disassembled“ jackets, embroidery and patchwork. But most important through the show itself, which made every guest emotional.

"A little bit of reflection and a replay of familiar notes such as full skirts, slouchy volumes and abstracted angles play against linear long silhouettes. Tapered and tangled there she comes into organic play of nature and modern technique in fabric development" (c) Toni Maticevski

How often does a fashion collection encourage you to seek more about designer's concepts, ideas & history? And also ask yourself why you really like it?
In Prada Resort 2018 collection contrast is the key. It’s about the contrast between different types of materials, style, color palette, topics and references - innocence and sweetness of sherbet colors combined with transparent layers of feminine dresses, juxtaposed with black nylon tracksuit, waterproof jackets and sportswear elements.
The idea of femininity that does not look infantile or sweet despite all the “sweet and girly” elements like frills, crystal and feather adornments, comes to the forefront in this collection.

Haider Ackermann AW17 collection is dark, masculine, with a lot of menswear tailoring translated into womenswear. Blue light of the background is a contrast to collection’s graphic silhouettes and emphasizes its strength and clean lines. The show’s atmosphere was mysterious and silent, which is one of the aspects this series of watercolor illustrations attempts to portray.
